Wake Up Bertha Bear

This is a tale of a black bear cub named Bradley, who is inadvertently separated from his hibernating mother, Bertha, when he gets hungry and wanders across the melting ice between their den on an island and the main shoreline. Fortunately, a whole host of forest friends -- a fox, skunk, loon, raccoon, woodcock, and moose -- come to Bradley's rescue and escort him back to the island and his still-sleeping mother. Thanks to "smelling salts" supplied by the skunk, Bertha awakens and is reunited with her anxious cub.
